Joint workshop organized by Optimized Gas Treating, Inc. and ChemProcess Consulting & Services Ltd.

Decarbonizing heavy-emitting industries is a complex challenge, hindered by technical, economic, and commercial barriers. However, the most urgent obstacle is the demand for skilled designers and engineers who can effectively design and simulate amine-based carbon capture processes for large emission sources.

This intensive workshop equips participants with essential skills for designing and simulating these processes, enabling informed decision-making. It is tailored for process engineers, chemical engineers, plant designers, process simulators, plant operators, and process consultants, ensuring relevance to a wide range of professionals.

A highlight of the workshop is the application of ProTreat®, a rate-based process simulation software developed by Optimized Gas Treating, Inc. (Texas, USA) and ChemProcess Consulting & Services Ltd. This powerful tool supports designing, operation, optimization, troubleshooting, and process revamping, offering participants a hands-on opportunity to refine their expertise in carbon capture technology.

Please note: Participants who wish to try ProTreat® during the workshop must bring a laptop running Microsoft Windows*

Agenda

  1. Introduction: ProTreat Rate-Based Process Simulator
  2. Amines & Glycols in CO2 Removal
