Greg Maidment is a Canadian energy and carbon management leader with more than 20 years of experience in carbon capture and storage, subsurface development, and applied research commercialization. He has served as a Canadian and Albertan CCS subject matter expert on multiple occasions, led the first injection of direct air captured CO₂ into a sedimentary reservoir in the world, and helped lead the drilling of Canada’s first CO₂ mineralization wells. Greg has also supported CCS policy and regulatory development across multiple provinces, helping bridge industry, government, and applied science.
