Matt Bright is the Director of External Affairs for True North Carbon (TNC) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of CarbonCapture Inc., where he leads the company’s government and public affairs work in Ottawa and Alberta. TNC is a direct air capture company focused on manufacturing and deploying modular, upgradable systems in Canada that can be produced at low cost to remove millions of tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere. In prior positions at think tanks and on Capitol Hill, Matt crafted policies to promote the use of CCUS technologies. He holds a PhD in environmental science.
