Dave McHattie

David McHattie is the Institutional Relations Director for Tenaris in Canada, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of steel pipe products and related services for the world’s energy industry and other industrial applications. Since joining Tenaris in 1999, Dave has played a pivotal role in the company's growth, overseeing major investments and acquisitions.

Since 2006, Dave has served on the North American Steel Trade Committee. He holds leadership roles in prominent Canadian business associations, including the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association, Enserva, and the Canadian Steel Producers Association.

Dave frequently speaks on the future of manufacturing and energy in Canada. He contributed to the Federal Government’s COVID-19 Supply Council and has led significant fundraising initiatives, including the Enserva STARS and Spurs Gala.

Dave holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Illinois and degrees in Business, Public Administration, and History from the University of Saskatchewan.
