Colleen Sherry

Colleen began her energy career as a new ventures’ geotechnical specialist. After 25 years in E&P, she joined GLJ as the inaugural VP, Sustainability & Emissions Management. Colleen is an integral member of a growing team that is expanding GLJ’s services to include advisory in emerging energies, CCS/CCUS, decarbonization, ESG and sustainability. Colleen works alongside clients to seek opportunities for successful strategic planning, change management, technology innovation, low carbon transition, and ESG reporting, targeting, and tracking.

Colleen is a strong believer in continuous learning and knowledge sharing. She holds a BSc in Geology with a minor in Geophysics from the University of Calgary, an MSc in Earth Sciences from the University of Ottawa, an MBA jointly from Queen’s University and Cornell University, and an MSL (Master of Sustainability Leadership) from Arizona State University. In addition to her work at GLJ, Colleen is an Academic Associate with the School of Sustainability in the College of Global Futures at ASU and a board member at CSEE (Canadian Society for Evolving Energy).
