Dr. Maryam MKhani has over 20 years of research, concept, technology and business development expertise in the energy and energy-intensive industry, start-ups, and academia. She has diverse carbon capture experience in Direct Air Capture technology development, technology scouting, evaluation and implementation for carbon capture from point sources across multiple industrial sectors both for commercial and emerging, leading-edge technologies. In her current role as Director, Maryam is working on technical and strategy aspects of CCUS portfolio in Worley. She is also holding an Adjunct Assistant Professor appointment at Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, where she contributes to teaching graduate courses such as CO2-capture – Science, Engineering and Society.
