Niels Versfeld

Niels is passionate about the union of finance, environment and energy. As the Director of Corporate Development at Carbon Clean, Niels is responsible for corporate development in North America. Niels has 20 years experience in business development, finance, and deal execution within environmental infrastructure. Niels has successfully managed and closed multiple transactions, partnerships, and projects across various geographies and sectors. Niels is a DBA Candidate at the Haskayne School of Business, where he researches firm approaches to carbon credits and their impact on value. Additionally, he holds an MBA in Global Energy Management, an Honours B.Sc in Environmental Science and is a certified Environmental Professional.
