Dale Walters

Dale Walters, Reservoir Manager, is a reservoir and geomechanical engineer with more than 25 years of experience and is recognized as a world expert in the geomechanical analysis of caprock integrity for thermal recovery projects.

 He has participated in large petroleum reservoir and geomechanical engineering studies throughout the world within a multi-disciplinary team environment, as well as domestic studies for international projects. Some of these studies include history matching and forecasting primary and waterflood performance for traditional oil fields and well test analysis, injection studies for water disposal, carbon capture and storage (CCS) and acid gas, as well as enhanced oil recovery methods such as SAGD and CSS combined with hydraulic fracturing and geomechanical effects.
